DESCRIPTION OF ARMORING:

Opaque Armor (STEEL):
- Armor consists of all welded ballistic grade steel construction;
- The interior frame, constructed of ballistic grade steel, provides overlap/bullet catchers and backup protection for the large-surface principal impact areas such as the doors and windows;
- Cabin armoring is constructed in such a way to ensure that a projectile following a linear or angled path shall not enter the interior without contacting the armor material. In addition to this, the possibility of a projectile entering the cabin due to a ricochet from the armor shall also be minimized.

Description of Ballistic Protection:
- Perimeter armoring of the cabin (roof and vertical surfaces) to provide protection against NATO 5.56x45mm and 7.62x51mm ammunition in accordance with CEN EN-1522 level B6.
- Fuel tanks – protected with same level as cabin.
- All window/door apertures shall be overlapped, with bullet catchers in the door window area
- The materials used in the construction of the boat shall of the highest quality and are tested in accordance with the ballistic protection levels specified.

Transparent Armor (GLASS):
- Level CEN EN 1063 level B6 ballistic protection, installed into all window areas
- Anti-spall layer protecting against shattering glass;
- Multiple impact protection (three shots);

CHASER 980
CHASER crafts are intended for search-and-rescue, maritime security and special operations in inland and coastal waters. Various configurations can offer fitting of turret and gun-ports' locations based on stated demands.
Specially-designed hull with applied sink prevention filler contributes to the unsinkability of CHASER.
One of the winning points is the state-of-the-art material – durable HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) providing a number of advantages, such as:
- Ultra-fast and extremely agile with exceptional stability in the most challenging weather conditions
- Impact-resistance with minimum maintenance
This sturdy vessel offers the provided advantage of fitting in a 40-feet container with no unnecessary exposure.
